Chipmunk cheeks - February 3, 2012

Hi all! I came through the wisdom teeth removal okay. It's been a few days and I'm still a bit extra cheeky, but healing is moving right along. I'm excited to play my flute next week...hopefully!
Thanks to everyone who has sent along well-wishes! They have been very much appreciated!
Until I'm back to concertizing, there's a new recording on the listening page! Elliott Carter's Scrivo in Vento, one of my faves!
Enjoy!

New Citywater Dates! - January 27, 2012

Check out the calendar for Citywater concerts in the next couple months! We're all over the place!

Also, please send me some healing vibes on January 31st and the following week. I'm having my bottom wisdom teeth removed. Send steady hands vibes to my surgeon, too. Nerve damage in that area is especially bad for flutists!

Thanks everyone!

Updates - November 15, 2011

Happy fall! It's been great seeing so many enthusiastic listeners at Music at Noon and FENAM! Thanks to all of you who came out for the concerts! And there's more to come in 2011! Check the calendar page for more great chamber music, and some very fun holiday concerts. There are also some 2012 dates up already for those of you who like to plan ahead. And what's up there is just the beginning. Keep checking back for new concerts and updates (I'll try to send news more often than once every five months)!

In non-music news, Tim and I ran in the Merrell Down n' Dirty Mud Run on October 30th. What a blast! It was a 10K trail run with military-style obstacles and, of course, lots of mud. This is how we stay sane during the busy concert season....by doing crazy things!! We ran in the barefoot division, wearing Merrell and Vibram barefoot running shoes (it sounds like an oxymoron, but it's not). Tim came in fifth in the men's division and I won the women's! Such fun!
